I took my first physical and pissed with some protein. Then I took my remdial and the same thing. Both times I worked out the day before so i know nothin is wrong. I wondering what happens next, will i get another another remedial or am i disqualified?

Matthew--the reason you have protein in your urine is most likely because you did work out the day before. The directions for your DoDMERB said not to do anything strenuous for 2 to 3 days prior to your exam and this is exactly why. I would contact someone at DoDMERB (there is probably a name/number on the remedial form you received), explain the situation and if they give you another chance, then be a couch potato for a couple days before going in. And drink plenty of water those couple of days too--that will help lower the protein level.

I agree with USAF. This question comes up every yr and the answer is always the same; DO NOT WORK OUT THE DAY OR 2 BEFORE.

Plus, drink lots of water and NOT sports drinks for those 2 days. DS is going to get his final DODMERB (you get another one prior to commissioning) and he already knows:
1. No workout for 2-3 days prior
2. No sports drink, soda or caffeine (luckily he doesn't drink caffeine)
3. WATER, WATER, WATER

As others stated this is a DodMERB issue, I just wanted to give a cranium up for new posters so they won't make the same common mistake.
