I apologize in advance if this question has been asked previously, but is the AF going to separate aspiring pilots into two groups at flight school--those who want/choose to remotely fly UAVs and those who don't? The last time I checked on this issue, a USAFA grad was sent to flight school and was then told if he/she would fly UAVs or climb into their airframes. There was no actual "selection" of which you would do prior to flight school. Thanks in advance for your responses.

It has already been split, at least for the class of 12. They now know before they enter training if they are going UAV.

There are now separate career fields and training programs for RPAs and manned aircraft.
