UNG FROGs!

Thank you :) Nope! No getting sick! Im in great shape *knocks on wood* I've been working hard all summer and have made great strides physically, from being bed ridden for 9 months to doing 30 push ups!

I'm excited

My DS will be there! Went through intro earlier this week and is getting more pumped each day

Awesome Bravo! Maybe Ill meet your DS. Im out of state so I chose not to do INTRO

Does your DS know what hall hes in? Im in patriot hall, home to 2nd battalion, which, echo, foxtrot, hotel, Golf belong too, I am told by my friend in Hotel Company.

He was told during his Intro. Interesting, because we were told during the parents intro that company assignments would be doled out during FROG week. Guess they have at least some of this figured out in advance.

On another note, looks like some pretty nice weather for the week ahead. About 6-10 degrees cooler than average for Dahlonega - low 80s and even some highs in the 70s. Good chance of rain throughout - perfect FROG weather :thumb:

RancidRancid - post when you get a chance!

I'm looking forward to hearing about your experiences during FROG week and how much you love it! :thumb:

Me too! RancidRancid -- what'd you think? My DS is a freshman cadet there too. Alpha Company. He LOVED Frog week -- very challenging, but he made some really good friends.

Nice little article about FROG week:

And a short video of this year's Crown Mountain Run, the last challenge for FROGs before graduation:

Proud of my DS, who is no longer a FROG, but a cadet recruit!

:D You can see my DS in that youtube video too! (Forum won't let me quote the links, so I took them out.)
