Hi all.

So just a quick update for anyone in the future who looks over my posts to see what stats i had and if i did or did not get a scholarship.

Over the weekened i was selected to go to a GA NJROTC Orienteering academy with limited spots. I was selected as platoon guide-on for the event and took over all 2nd place in the state level competition.

Now for the question haha. In the rotc portal under activities, there is a check box specifically for model united nations (similar to say... Boys state). This club does exist in my school, but it is fairly time taxing to get in. Is it worth enough on the whole person score to work towards joining before the deadline of Oct. 2? Or should i put my time in another area?

Thank you in advance. I appreciate it :)

I wouldn't put too much weight on one club...Boys State is one thing because that's an official national organization, where as Model UN is just a school club. It depends on your overall profile. If you have lots of other extra curriculars already; you're fine. What's your overall profile looking like? (Extra curricular, gpa, sat, pft?)
