Hello Everyone,

I am trying to obtain specific information about attending the West Point Class of 2012 graduation, so that I can see my only nephew graduate.

I have been estranged from my younger sister, (his Mom), for 15 years, so I can't get any information from her. Long story we will definitely skip that...

My Dad was West Point class of '59 and was KIA in Vietnam when I was 7 years old, so I also want to visit his grave, while at West Point.

I live in Florida, so I have transportation and lodging arrangements that will need to be made soon. As well as finding out how to obtain permission to attend various events during the graduation week. (I am assuming that some events will be for cadets and their parents only).

PLEASE if anyone (preferably 2012 cadet parents) has information and can help me, please respond to this post.

I wish all of you that are seeking to attend West Point or are currently at West Point the very best!

Thank you very much!

Kind Regards,
GatorProfCPA

My brother was a West Point graduate of Class of 2010. For 4 years, my parents have been involved in a West Point Parent's Club in our local county in CA. I'm definitely sure that other states have local clubs also. Here's a website linking to the Parents Club for Central Florida for Class of 2012 for West Point.

I suggest that you should contact them. :thumb:

If you are on facebook, you can get some information off the parents fb page: http://www.facebook.com/#!/WestPointParents

Also, graduation info is available at: http://www.usma.edu/Class/2011/ This was the schedule for LAST year...our schedule isn't up yet, but graduation is May 26. We will have a similar schedule. Reg 1 and 2 have the sup reception on Wed., and 3/4 is Thursday. Parade is Friday, and grad is Sat.

If you need any other info, feel free to PM me.
