I'm wanting to apply for the USAFA summer seminar in June of 2017. My parents are all on board except they're wary of letting me go if cadets are supposed to stay in co-ed dormitories. Anyone have some information on that? Thanks

How do you define Co-Ed Dorm? You will definitely not be sharing a room with someone the opposite gender.

Are your parents worried about sharing the same floor or same building with someone the opposite gender?

Ask your parents if they are comfortable with you sharing a nuclear missile silo or tactical command center with someone the opposite gender for 24 hours or more? The Air Force and other service for the most part are gender-intergrated.

They're fear was staying in a room mixed with guys and girls. Staying in the same building or floor isn't a problem. Someone had told them it was mixed so I'm not sure where they got the information. Thanks though that really helps.

And, unlike some universities, no co-ed bathrooms. And you'll wear a really charming robe around when you're out in your jammies.
