ds just got a request for a body fat determination. he is built like a tree trunk. 5'11, 230 (his football weight....he'll wrestle around 210-215) and has an 18" neck, 46" chest, 35" waist and 27" thighs.

any idea what numbers they are looking for in this? on paper, I know he looks too heavy and then the people see him and say, "oh you are fine" and that is what the ROTC guys have told him as well. But maybe we wait to do this test until he's at wrestling weight.....

thanks for any insight.

Thank you all for your feedback, I really appreciated the PMs. :)

Strangely, yesterday DS needed an O-220 and today there is a letter in his file that says he meets the body fat requirements. How did they determine that? And the form is still listed in his portal as needing to be completed. So I think an email to admissions is in order.

Here is the calculator they use. Only ht, wt, neck, waist. He comes out at 13% and max is 20%. He's fine.
