USCGA Prep School?

I know lots of decisions have been made available recently. Congratulations to all those with appointments so far.
Can someone explain to me how the prep school works for USCGA please?
Have those offers gone out as well? Can you get an prep school offer off the waitlist?

Offers to prep school are made concurrently with appointments to the academy, so they have already gone out. One would either be placed on the waitlist for the academy or the waitlist for CGAS.
