USMA and GI Bill

    If you attend USMA, are you still eligible for the GI Bill (assuming no prior enlisted time)?

    In my day, I recall that ROTC scholarship recipients were no longer eligible for the GI Bill.

    I am under the impression that you must serve past the 5 years owed before you can apply for the post-9/11 GI Bill.

    No, the GI Bill does not count for USMA. It's on the West Point website's FAQ section.

    The new post 9/11 gi bill allows for usma and ROTC scholarship recipients to participate.
