Ignoring a USMA alum and Major in the Army is not the best bet for new applicants to any branch. Nobody is discouraging the OP, just advising him to keep his priorities in check.

That's easy, the Coast Guard of course. We're never so far out that we can't wade in to the nearest Pizza joint or Starbucks.

Where ARE you getting your numbers from.

You should be less concerned with the food and more concerned about learning more about the individual Services and Academies.
