Awesome! Is he a recruited athlete too? Or did he just have really strong scores and medically/physically qualified?

He's not a recruited athlete but he is medically and physically qualified and has good scores, class rank, GPA, and extracurriculars.

She received a letter in the mail. I had her permission and instruction to open anything from USMA lol!

Do any of the LOA recipients have confirmed nomination sources eg Presidential or other non-MOC nominations? Do you think that having a confirmed nomination source would lessen or eliminate one's chances of getting an LOA?

I like to bump blueplate's quetion. What portion of the application was completed? Were all the recommendations completed? Transcript sent? DoDMERB?

She had everything done except for her personal statements, PE teacher evaluation, and DODMERB (although she has been found qualified through Naval) I should add that she did receive a phone interview unexpectedly this past week by FFR. I'm thinking they did that because she hadn't submitted her statements yet.

DS had everything complete on the portal which opened Aug 1. He was Qualified with DoDMERB (via USNA & USAFA). He did attend SLE #1. He received the LOA via USPS. He does not have a confirmed nomination source.
