25 Jul 09 05 Aug 09 Cadet Candidate Basic Training (CCBT)
10 Aug 09 12 Aug 09 Academic Preparation & Testing Depending on the performance of the individual Cadet Candidate, they may be offered local privileges or passes. Cadet Candidates will be authorized to telephone Parents/Families on Sat 14 Aug. On the weekend of 14-15 Aug, only local privileges will be granted (no overnight passes). On the weekend of 20-22 Aug, those Cadet Candidates in good standing may receive a weekend (overnight) pass.
19 Aug 09 1st Day of Class Hold
4 Sep 09 7 Sep 09 Labor Day Holiday Break Students without athletic commitments will be released from USMAPS at 2:00 PM on 4Sept. All students must return to USMAPS for accountability formation at 7:00 PM on 7 Sept.
17 Sep 09 20 Sep 09 Class Trip to West Point
16 Oct 09 19 Oct 09 Parent's Weekend We anticipate area hotels to be extremely busy during this time and the weeks prior. Parents/Family attending USMAPS Parent's Weekend are strongly encouraged to reserve lodging as soon possible.
26 Nov 09 29 Nov 09 Thanksgiving Leave Students will be released from USMAPS at 8:00 AM on 26 Nov. All students must return to USMAPS for accountability formation at 7:00 PM on 29 Nov.
12 Dec 09 Class Trip to Army-Navy Football Game Baltimore, MD
23 Dec 09 3 Jan 10 Winter Break Students will be released from USMAPS at 8:00 AM on 23 Dec 09. All students must return to USMAPS for accountability formation at 7:00 PM on 3 Jan 10.
13 Mar 10 22 Mar 10 Spring Break Students will be released from USMAPS at 8:00 AM on 13 Mar 10. All students must return to USMAPS for accountability formation at 7:00 PM on 22 Mar10.
13 May 10 14 May 10 USMAPS Graduation Hold
15 May 10 29 May 10 CHEM STAP & Summer Disciplinary Tours Students attending CHEM STAP or completing Summer Disciplinary Tours will be released from USMAPS for Summer Break at 3:00 PM on 15 Jun 10. All students must return to USMAPS for accountability formation at 1:00 PM on 29 May 10.
25 Jun 10 Summer Break Ends All students must return to USMAPS for accountability formation at 1:00 PM on 25 Jun 10.
28 Jun 10 Students bussed to West Point, NY
