Can mids sync/link their USNA email account with their smartphone?
Thanks in advance?

I know my Mid has accessed her email from home at various times using a standard web browser, so I would think that it could also be done on a smart phone.

Yes, if there is anyway you can arrange to have your mid a smart phone it is the way to go. They can set us their mid email to be forwarded to their personal email address. The personal email address is what is set up on their smart phone. A real time saver when you get hundreds of emails a day that need to be addressed. We got our son a smart phone before IDay, and was so glad we did.

This is bad gouge and prohibited by DON/DoD policy, please have your son stop doing this.

Be aware that automatic forwarding of official email to accounts outside of USNA is prohibited by DoD policy.

What jadler said but in another way: they can access their .edu email account from their phones just as they can from any computer but cannot have that mail forwarded to a .com or .net or .anything address.
