April 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30, plus 31 in May, plus 30 in June. What my Dad used to call "67 and a get up." Trying not to think about it. Make the most of the time you have with your plebe-to-be when they are not running, swimming, etc. over the next couple of months.

Getting anxious

We just sent in the Cert. of Acceptance, via fax. How long before the CABS system is accessible? Anyone have a timetable? We also mailed the hard copies of the Birth Certificate and Acceptance on 4/20, as well. Thanks for any advice. Do not want to miss the deadline.

CABS

Thanks. I cannot get on, but it says wait a week before contacting the webmaster. How long after you accepted were you able to access it?

wait at least a week, as you are probably not in the system yet, since you just sent in your acceptance...

mjcjac,
Hey, which route did you decide to go, cga, usna, scholarship school....?

What is CABS?

Did anyone receive the Permit to Report forms yet? I've read some posts about people accessing the CABS system, but the directions say that one should have received the Permit first. Anyone have any info?

PTR packets will probably not be out until mid-May... CABS stands for Candidate Academic Background System

Look into the thread that is talking about "Permit to Report" and there is a link that will take you to the page... if I can figure out how I will try to post the link here, too...

I'm freakin out man. I can't focus on anything but USNA anymore. I don't know how I'm going to study for finals...

I thought you were supposed to wait for the PTR packet, too.
oh, and...
67 DAYS

...eek is right haha

Think of it in terms of days until Herndon

Do not think of it as the number of days until I-Day, think of it as the number of days until the class of 2113 climbs Herdon. As of today, Monday 27 April, 2009, the class of 2013 only has 455 days until Herdon!!

Herndon is the monument that the plebes climb at the end of the a/c year, in order to exchange a dixie cup for an upperclass cover...

Herndon for c/o 2012 20 Days

I-Day c/o 2013 64 Days

Commissioning c/o 2010 395 Days

Commissioning c/o 2011 795 Days

So Herndon for c/o 2013 might be abut 390 days?
