I wanted to know if anyone who has watched over the years has seen what typically happens with candidates who have multiple nominations?
I know it is recommended you get as many as you can and I understand why.
Basically right now I am sitting with a Presidential, JROTC, Congressional Senator, and Congressional Representative Nominations.
Compared to what you may have seen with candidates in the past who have had similar nominations, where do you think I stand if I am 3Q'd?
When do you think I should expect to hear something back? I know the real date is April 15th but based on your experiences what type of insights can you provide me?
Appreciate any type of support or help!

Most candidates will know Feb-March. You have as good a shot at anyone who falls into the 3Q category. A few things ROTC noms are plenty but only a few can be appointed with that source. Presidential usually has 700-800 who qualify for the Nom, but appointments are capped at 100. What kind of Nom slates did your MOCs use? If they both used principal that could impact things. Bottom line is the more you quality for, the more slates USNA has to put you against... That is a good thing. The wait isn't long now, hang in there.

On Presidential Noms, is it capped at 100 for the SAs or 100 per SA? Just looking for clarification there, thanks!

The president can have 400 candidates charged to him at an academy at any one time. That averages out to 100 admitted on a presidential nomination per year at each academy. It could be a little more if some of his prior year nominees drop out.

It isn't 400. The law clearly states 100 per year for Presidential, just as it is clear that MOCs and certain other officials are capped at a specific number regardless of year (i.e. at one time).

I stand corrected.

Kiddo- that sounds great to me! Good luck to you. You clearly have put in tons of effort and your nominations speak highly of the quality of your work. Try to enjoy your senior year. I bet good things are coming your way.
