USNA Transcript Question

I'm aware that my school counselor must send my transcript to the Naval Academy.
On the website, however, it states that my Candidate number must be included... What do they mean by that? Do I have my counselor write my number on my transcript somewhere?

You can have them right it on the top right or bottom right of each page. That is helpful once pulled out by admissions. Have them out on outside envelope too.
