What are some of the differences between the USNA and USCGA?
Yes, I understand there different paths and things like that, but I'm just talking about the academies themselves.

You're going to have to be a little more specific than that, that's a pretty broad question!
 
They both lead to sea services, and they both speak the "afloat" language....other than that and hats that look the same.....they are very very different.
 
You can be selected to train for the Navy Seal's through either service now. I know that's more of a similarity rather than a difference, but a commonality nonetheless.

USNA is D1 athletics; USCGA is D3 athletics

USNA is in Annapolis, MD; USCGA is in New London, CT

USNA Mids sail on YP's; USCGA Cadets sail on EAGLE (guess which is more fun)
