The DoDMerb website indicates my daughter is qualified:

Agency: ' US Naval Academy
Admission Status: In Process
Admission Status Change Date: 6-JUL-2009
Current Medical Status: Qualified (as of 14-AUG-09 )

The USNA Candidate website simply states:

MEDICAL STATUS
For information regarding your medical exam or status please visit the DODMERB website.

Should the USNA Candidate website also contain the actual DoDMerb status? Or is that only contained on the DoDMerb site? Does anyone else have their DoDMerb status on their Candidate page?

Just want to make sure everything is in place. Thanks.

My son got his letter from DoDMerb back in August. The status on the USNA website has never changed. I was told it would not.

My daughter did not receive a letter. The status just changed on the DoDMerb website. I guess that is normal.

I can concur. Although a letter is expected, it's expected to take a while to get here. DS had some remedials to get past before being officially 'Qualified'. I haven't asked specifically but I don't expect the USNA site to change. I think it's more of an accounting thing for all things needing qualification.

I saved a .pdf file of the DoDMERB site screen capture in the 'log' just 'cause that's the kind of guy I am.

Does anyone have experience with the 'Nomination' status on the USNA CIS site? Does that change (or do you expect it too)?

My daughter's nomination status changed about 10 days after she received the letter from the MOC. I understand that this depends on the MOC, when they submit it to the USNA.

The DoDMERB medical status listed on the DoDMERB website is the official status for qualified or does NOT meet medical standards.

The specific academy or ROTC program will send a letter regarding any medical waiver decisions. DoDMERB will post that waiver decision when received. :thumb:

My son was Dodmerb qualified in July, already has a USNA appointment, but his status on USNA CIS has never changed, it still says:
MEDICAL STATUS
For information regarding your medical exam or status please visit the DODMERB website.

So I'm inclined to think Medical status doesn't get updated in CIS

Again, questions about DoDMERB statsu can be directed to me. Questions about the medical status on the USNA website, direct to USNA:thumb:
