I'm in a fickle

I'm a reapplicant. The high school counselor who helped me with my service academy applications before left my old high school to be a counselor at a different high school.

I emailed her and asked her for help again with my applications, but she said that she can't help me anymore because she doesn't work at my old high school anymore. She directed me to the new counselor who replaced her. Although the new counselor helped me with the other forms, she refused to validate my candidate activities record because she didn't know me in high school, my academic history or extracurricular activities (Which makes sense).

My question is, can my old counselor validate my activities record even if she doesn't work at my old high school anymore?

(I already asked my admissions counselor but didn't get a clear cut answer)

Go up the chain of command at your old high school. Ask either another guidance counselor or the school principal. Explain the situation and ask who would be able to validate your activities record. There has to be someone there. I would assume that you will be home soon on for winter break. If you don't have success via email or phone, stop into you old high school and ask.

Yes, I think that would be the next step.

Unfortunately, my former high school got a new principal too (and therefore doesn't know who I am). And they don't keep records of club memberships and awards received either unlike some institutions.

If it comes down to it, I guess I'll just show the counselor a portfolio of my clubs/awards/sports as proof

You can always try to reach out to some of the secretaries at your HS. They alway seem to run the show and if you are nice and they like you they are usually very helpful.

Alternatively, can you have your OLD guidance counselor talk to the NEW guidance counselor to vouch for your record (with the new one submitting the form)? I would hope the guidance counselors can trust each other's word.

Otherwise, is there a teacher still around that can submit the form? I believe the form only stipulates a school official.
