I am a freshman in college, and 4-year Army ROTC scholarship winner. I was qualified but not selected for the Class of 2018 to USMA.
I am grateful for my scholarship, but I am re-applying to West Point for the Class of 2019. I am crossing my fingers that I will get accepted, with my new extra curriculars and my ROTC experience. I was wondering what the acceptance rate of ROTC cadets to the academy is.
Currently, I am a civil engineering major, and my schedule includes Calculus, Chemistry, and Physics. I understand that plebes at the academy have to take similar courses, and I was wondering if the academy would accept those classes for validation. My goal is to double major and it would be much easier with the entry level courses out of the way, also, I don't want this first year of college to be wasted. Thanks for the responses!

Not sure if USMA does it the same way as USNA, but all the plebes at USNA take tests during the summer to determine validation. My guess would be USMA does something similar.

Validations

You will take several validation exams during the first detail of Beast Barracks, and there are also chances to validate classes during the academic year. It is highly recommended -almost required- if you want to pursue a double major.
