Does the CC need to bring a calculator for the validation tests?

If so, what type? He has a TI-84 Plus that he used through Calc BC.

    Thanks!

The academy will issue a calculator to New Cadets. Can't recall the exact model but it is like a TI-30 without the bells, whistles, and programmability of the TI-83/84. It may depend on company, but normally you could bring his TI-84 to him on A-Day, and he could use it during AY for homework, however he cannot use it on tests.

What about the validation tests before A-day? Would you just use the issued calculator?
