Varsity vs. intramural sports

So I know sports participation is a big part of your application, I have done 3 years of varsity equestrian at my school and will be a captain next year, as well as soccer and swimming. Soccer and swim weren't "varsity" though, it was through my city. Are those sports still worth putting on my application, even if they weren't a variety sport?
