To each his/her own. Seems like with so many threads, some folks are always ready to "pick a fight".

I was not bashing anyone for using the reserved spots for parking, if needed.

Your remarks about those spots don't reflect this attitude.

Pregnancy is not a handicap!

Well, that's why they're called courtesy spots for expectant mothers, not Pregnant Handicap spots.

Although, according to a lawyer ex colleague of mine, it is considered a temporary handicap condition (no citation though).

Having a premium spot for anyone would be nice. I'm not convinced pregnant women NEED the spot, although I'm sure they appreciate the option. I'm convinced veterans (even combat wounded) don't need spots. And I think handicap spots are needed.
