Hi all,

My DS will be attending Valley Forge Millitary College this Fall. I was just wondering if there were any other parents on this forum with a loved one at VFMC. I hope to hear from you all!

Pete

My DS will hopefully be starting at Valley Forge Military College this fall also. We are anxiously waiting for the results of a medical waiver submission for a wrist surgery he had last May.

My DD will be attending in the Fall, how do your children like the school so far? She is an ECP student did they go that program as well?

My son will be graduating in a few weeks. I can't say enough about VFMAC. It really was a fantastic prep for him. He planned on one year, decided to stay for the second. There have been a lot of leadership changes, but they are, I believe on a great path. Alumni support is tremendous. Son had plenty of support and mentors.

Congratulations on your sons upcoming graduation, is he going on to another school to complete his 4 year degree? Also was he a ECP recipient by any chance?

Bondo,
My DS is in VF and finishing up his first year! It is a rigorous military college with colleges commitments, ROTC trainings plus National Guard or Reserve drills once a month after contracting. Cadets are extremely busy ALL the time starting very early in the morning with formations! I am extremely proud of my son and looking forward for next school year!
He is in the process of researching for the 4 year college that he have to apply in the fall.
Please let me know if you need any other information!!!

Can someone answer my question. After two and a commission as an army officer. I understand it's the lieutenants "choice" to choose a school with an army rotc unit for two years. Can it be any school let say Harvard or Yale for example.

Yes as long as there is an Rotc program they can attend that school.

They have to be accepted to the school, and the school has to have ROTC available.
