Did you hear from Senators Warner or Kaine yet? I assume you chose WP as your #1 in their applications.

I haven't heard back from the senators yet. But I am being hopefull and thinking that "no news is good news" in lieu of Warner's rejection letters.

DS received email today to schedule interview for Warner. This would be for USAFA.

Any tips for the interview. Did the panel ask challenging questions and how many? Were the panel friendly or very formal. How long did the interview take?
My DS interviewed with Wittman's board two years ago. I can't remember the questions but we advised our kid to answer honestly and just be himself. My wife said she hear laughing in his interview room, so she thought it went well. It did and he received a nomination, went to prep school, and is in the USMMA class of 2020. Just tell you kid to relax, answer honestly (not what they expect the board to "want to hear"), and be themselves. Good luck.

I appreciate your tips and advise for my DD @ KP2020Dad. Thank you so much! This is her very first time to go to a formal interview. But I'm sure she'll do really well.

Has anyone heard from Senator Warner for a West Point nomination interview?

Just got notified for an interview with Senator Warner. Dates I can choose are 12/1 (Vienna), 12/3 (Richmond), 12/5 (Vienna).

Does anyone know how many people he interviews for West Point?

So he has 3 dates with 5 time slots and 3 interviewers who interview for 15 minutes. I would guess based upon those factors, you're looking at the most 45 candidates, not counting international candidates who call in.

"These are required 15 minute, one-on-one interviews with each of my three Service Academy Advisory Board members."

Does this mean that I will be doing 3 separate "mini" interviews with three different people of the Advisory Board?
I wouldn't think so but the fact that the words "one-on-one" and "with each" is stated makes me second guess.

Is it:
15 min w/ Advisory Member #1 and
15 min w/ Advisory Member #2 and
15 min w/ Advisory Member #3
Total of 45 minutes with 3 different people

or:
15 min w/ Three Advisory Members listening at same time.

Yes - DS had 3 separate interviews in 2014 for Sen. Warner's panel. A friend's son had the same last year. In 2014 there were 70 interviews.
