Hey so I was just awarded an ROTC scholarship and I know that I need to pass the DoDMERB. I think I should be fine except for that I've needed glasses for a while now (I can still see most things fine) but I haven't gotten around to the eye doctor yet. If I don't have glasses during the DoDMERB, will that DQ me? Or does it only matter that it /can/ be corrected to 20/20. Basically what I'm asking is if I should see the eye doctor first.

Well, you should see the doctor to get yourself some glasses, but it won't be a huge deal if you don't have them as they will refractive you at the Dodmerb visit.

Listen to kp. Get glasses, whether or not this will have an impact on your results. Next year you will be in college, many of your classes could be in an auditoriums of 100-200 students. You will want glasses to see the whiteboards in the back oif the auditorium.
