Ok, so I haven't been to the eye doctor in a really long time. I think I have 20/25 vision but I have no problems seeing everyday without glasses. Basically everything is clear too. Is this a DQ because if my eye sight is not 20/20 it would most likely be correctable. My eye exam for DoDMERB is next week.

They do realize when they test your eyesight, your prescription glasses (if you wear any) may not be strong enough. Therefore, they use the machine and see if your eyesight is correctable to 20/20. I am certain you will pass if your uncorrected is 20/25.

I don't wear any, but that is definitely reassuring because I do not need glasses for sports, reading, or for just daily activities in general. I hope you're right! Thanks for the feedback.

Ok so apparently I was worried about the wrong thing. I do have 20/20 vision but I failed the depth perception test. It is correctable with a weak prescription. I am going to assume that I will receive a medical DQ for this. I know that no one can tell me if I can obtain a waiver personally, but is it even possible to get a waiver for this or will this be an automatic unchangeable DQ?
