Does the USCGA issue waivers for uncorrected visual acuity worse than 20/400?

I have been wondering the same thing but havent found an answer yet. Also, does uncorrected mean without my contacts or glasses or with them?

Yes, they have issued waivers for it.

That being said, every case is different, every candidate is different. What is waivered for one may not be waivered for another.

The only way you will know for sure is to apply and find out.
