VMI financial aid

Does anyone know if VMI will pay for Room and Board for future rats that are going on an NROTC scholarship? I know a few colleges do this.

Sort of, but it's pathetic compared to what some other schools do.

Incoming freshmen with a 3- or 4-year AFROTC scholarship, who maintain satisfactory disciplinary standing with the Corps of Cadets and who maintain a 2.5 cum GPA in the 1st year 2.0 or higher cum GPA each subsequent year, will receive a $1000 annual stipend from VMI to help defray the cost of room and board. This scholarship is available for all 4 years if the recipient meets the noted academic and disciplinary guidelines.

I imagine it's the same for NROTC scholarship winners.
