Hello all,

I was placed on the wait list for the class of 2019 back in early April. However, to my surprise, I received notification of a Vice Presidential nomination in the mail Saturday. Although I am honored by this recognition, I am wondering whether or not this will have an impact on my standing, if it is a good sign, or if it means nothing at all.

Thanks for your help, Go Navy!

It's definitely interesting because the VP is limited to 5 attending each academy and the academy uses them
sparingly. Stay tuned and keep us informed as I suspect there would be little reason for you to receive this nom so late unless it was needed. Did you also have MOC nom?

I only have a Presidential nomination but I evidently was not selected under that category. The VP nomination was officially added to my portal on April 17th, 11 days after I received notification of my wait list status, that's why I'm so curious as to its significance.
