I have a couple of quick questions about VP nominations and any input would be greatly appreciated.

1.) How do you know that you have received one, do you receive a letter or e-mail, or does it just pop up under nominations in the candidate portals? Because today a new nomination came up on my West Point Candidate Portal that i have a new nomination. Yet i have already known the status of my other nominations, since mid-december. And if it makes any difference i received one nomination. The only other one i could think of would be a VP nom.

2.) How many nominations does the vice president give out, i know that he is allowed five cadets at an academy at a time, but how many nominations does he actually give?

Thank you for any input that you have.

What is the abbreviation of the new nom that is on your WP portal?

NV02, which is my congressional district, but I already received a nomination to USNA from my representative back in late November, maybe someone backed out of the nomination?

Looks like you have a nom to WP from your Congressional Rep.!
It doesn't really matter the -'why' or 'how'.
Congratulations!
