wait listed

I was notified by mail that I was wait listed. The letter gave specific instructions that I must email back within 1 week of the date of the letter (not when I received it) requesting to REMAIN on the wait list. In an earlier post, I noted the email address to the Director of Nominations and Admissions.
Good Luck to all of us on the wait list. BTW, the letter also instructed me to have an Official 3quarter Transcript faxed to the Admissions office.
 
The wait list letter specifically gives an email address to reply to...It is quite clear.
 
I do not know...Just know that I am on the Wait List and it's going to be a very long 8 weeks til I-Day! Remain hopeful. Good Luck to all of us
 
Also from no and wait listed

My son is on the wait list since April. We are also from NJ. He is strong acdemically, an athlete, class officer etc. etc. NJ is too competitive. So many strong candidates on the vine. Have any wait listed candidates been offered an appointment?
 
You may be one of the lucky ones if you havent heard back yet. Our daughter received a letter last week informing her that although she was highly qualified, she would not be offered an appointment from the wait list. The letter went on to say it was an extremely competitive year. We too are from NJ, (Ocean County). She is quite disappointed as one must imagine, but, is planning on reapplying. Determination is a trait most of these applicants possess. Good Luck to you and God Bless
 
Fortunately waiting

We realize how fortunate he is to still have chance. It's what he always wanted. Good luck to all the candidates.
