I am applying to all four academies and I'm debating about what to do regarding my activities record. It appears to be a one time submission so I have been holding off on it until school starts because I plan on running for student body and NHS president. However, it's encouraged to submit parts of my application asap. Will I be able to go back and update it later or should I just hold off on this another few weeks? I know some admissions counselors have said it takes a lot of work for them to go back and add things.

Last year, after I submitted my activities record I added several things to it just by telling the admissions counselor. I had become President of a committee and Captain of a varsity team and various things like that. If you tell your admissions counselor then they'll add it to your file, whether it's a pain or not. Now, with saying that. I would first ask them if it's even worth doing. If it's just basket weaving club after school on Monday then I don't think that will "make" your application. If you are voted Captain or President of something, then yes, add that.
