I just found out today that I've been waitlisted. This brings up several questions such as what are my chances now and can I still get into NAPS?

From what I understand, NAPS is only open to those who aren't Academically Qualified (which I am assuming you are if you were waitlisted).

There is another thread a coule of days ago "The Wait List" or just wait list - more information there as well as sticky at top of this catagory - general info and misc - wait list is addressed there. Unfortunately I do not believe there are rules written in stone regarding NAPS, think I even read this year that a candidate who was academically qual'd got NAPS - just a posting but evidence that there may always be expections - good luck larrys mom

If the candidate was 3Q'd it really makes more sense for him/her to start taking college level courses in preparation for your next run for the gold. Strongly recommend reading the thread on reapplying at the top of this section - it is thorough, well-thought through, and just plain good advice. Besides, it may lead to an opportunity to complete the baccalaureate degree requirements early and apply for the graduate program. Regardless, you will be more familiar with the expectations you will encounter in the college classroom.
