I just received a letter stating I did not meet the medical standards due to spondylolysis I had during basketball my sophomore year. I have completely recovered and have been a varsity cross country and baseball (all star) the past two years. I went thru extra PT just to prove that I was fit for service. I work out 6 x's a week and have had zero issues. I should have gathered additional updated medical info for DoDMERB before their remedial review. Does anyone know how I can get this information to them and help with a waiver for my academy appointments?

ZN27, if you look in the top part of this DoDMERB forum page you will see some "stickies" with great information to help you.

In particular read the first message from Mr. Larry Mullen in the following sticky
http://www.serviceacademyforums.com/showthread.php?t=3097

You will note that Mr. Mullen responds to most questions with the same response: "Provide your complete name and last 4 SSN; send me an email at Larry.Mullen@dodmerb.tma.osd.mil. I can assist U better from there."

You should go ahead and send an email (not a PM) to Mr. Larry Mullen. Explain your situation and he will advise you on what you can do next.

He is an incredible man who goes out of his way to help people work through any hurdles they encounter in the DoDMERB process.

Don't give up!
All the best.
