Waiver Question

DS is applying to both USNA and USMA. USMA has requested a waiver but it hasn't been granted. USNA has not requested one. At this point, should he just assume USNA isn't interested in pursuing a waiver for him? If that's the case, why wouldn't USNA just send him a TWE?

Be patient. USNA has not yet made a decision on your son. Once a decision is made on the admission you will get the waiver process started or will get the TWE. We are in the same boat as your son.

Thanks! There are so many balls in the air with SA, ROTC, and regular college, that at this point even bad news is welcome so he can focus on another path.

My son is leaning towards NROTC rather than USNA. The waiver process for the NROTC is just starting. He is saying even if he gets the USNA he may opt for the NROTC to get some college life in ;). We are keeping our fingers crossed. So the anxiety of waiting for USNA admission is much less here. :)
