Received hard-copy letter from Navy (Pensacola, FL) one week ago saying that the NROTC waiver had been granted. Still not heard anything on USNA waiver.

DoDMERB website still says that the status for both NROTC and USNA is "Pending Waiver Submission/Review."

Kind of expected the website to reflect the change in status of the NROTC matter to show that the waiver was granted, while leaving the status of the USNA issue unchanged.

Is this sort of delay in DoDMERB showing the change of status normal and nothing to worry about?

Or maybe the DoDMERB website status never changes to something like "waiver granted" and nobody cares what that website says once you have your hard-copy letter from the Navy in hand?

Just curious.

The NROTC waiver letter IS your official notification. the DoDMERB website will be updated 1) When we receive the information and 2) As this last few weeks are the end of the semesters for ROTC, we have priorities to focus on those kids that are on campus. But again, the letter in hand IS the official notification.:thumb:

It's the holidays. They will be busy and behind on stuff so just be patient, they'll get to it. :)
