Waiver Status Question

Hello all,

I received my disqualification letter today in the mail. I was disqualified due to my nearsightedness (Distant Visual Acuity not correctable to 20/20).
My status on the DODMERB website says that my status is "Pending Waiver Submission/Review". However, I have not received any kind of a waiver form electronically or through mail.
Does this mean I have been automatically submitted for waiver review? OR will additional forms come to me that I need to fill out and send back in?

My agency is Marine Corps ROTC.

Thank you all very much for your time,

What happens is this:

Dodmerb will send the exam results to MC ROTC.
MC ROTC will decide if they will seek a waiver - likely if you have already been offered a scholarship. This means you do not have to write a letter requesting a waiver.
Once ROTC makes the decision to seek the waiver, they should notify you. Perhaps it's electronically now but they used to send a letter.
Once they make the decision about the waiver - DODMERB will notify you.

I have no idea of your chances or if they will bother to pursue the waiver -- you can call the help desk at Dodmerb and talk to them.

I have been offered a scholarship, so I guess it looks like they'll might pursue a waiver.
I'll do sure to do as you advised, and call the DODMERB help desk.
Thank very much for your help!

A watched DoDMERB never boils

Brace yourself: Our DQ letter was dated 27 FEB and we still haven't heard a thing.
