Not to be cute but it would be a good experience, they will see plenty of water hours when at sea.
On a positive note, given consideration they are working their bottoms off, I'm certain the Academy will not allow a shoratage of water.
All the best to your Mids, we are hoping our DS will be there for next year. Crazy kid now runs the beach because he liked wet and sandy.
