    Wonder if the folks currently "sheltered in place" would like to have a firearm to defend their homes.

    Some of them, probably would.

    More importantly,
    ARFcom is that way. ---->
    This is SA forums, and firearms discussions aren't really our focus.

    Just heard from my son at VMI that the Transit Officer in critical condition is a 2002 VMI grad.

    Double 00 might be nice to have in the house if you are locked down and waiting for some idiot to break in.

    We're moving back to that side. Made the move to MD when our lease was up to be closer to my wife's work. Now that we plan to buy, back to the good state with reasonable taxes.

    Does this person in custody qualify for the Affordable Care Act?

    I'm going to go with a "too soon" for Obamacare jokes about an event that killed and maimed innocent people, including an 8-year-old boy. I'm also going to go with a "too soon" for a thread entitled "Watertown" with a gun control angle.

    My memories of the effects of IEDs are intense and haven't faded all that much since Afghanistan, and seeing those recent Boston pictures hasn't helped. It was, though, what I signed up for in many ways by entering the profession of arms. People coming to run in, and volunteer at, and cheer for, a joyful athletic event didn't sign up for it. Joking about this or using the event as a bullet point in a larger political debate, while wholly within the bounds of free speech (internet or SA forum or regular variety), just rubs me the wrong way.

    Thanks.
