Weight Limit

First off, I am not overweight by any means. I am a muscular guy who runs cross county that is 5'9". I weigh around 174 depending on the day. Does DoDMERB DQ candidates who are overweight? Whenever I go to the doctor, they weigh me with my clothes on and I ring in somewhere above 180. I cannot exceed that according to USAFA, but is that DoDMERB's job? I have not drunk anything since lunch today because my medical exam is tomorrow. Should I not worry about my fluid intake? Or should I try to make sure I make the weight cut?

My son was outside Naval weight standards .. He is shorter with a very muscular build. He passed Dodmerb no problem.
He is a current NROTC member and they do a tape test and measure body fat that way. He always is in range for this test so it has become a non-issue.
