West Point SAT with Essay

I recently saw on my portal that SAT with essay is required for West Point. I took the essay portion on the old SAT and got a decent score (1870), but I didn't take it on the new one because I didn't know that the essay was required yet and got a much better score of a 1430 ( 680 math 750 reading). Will they still take my new SAT scores even though it doesn't have the essay?

WP admission super scores your standardized tests. In other words they will accept you highest score. As for you essay, that will be required. You have plenty of time to re-take the SAT and I encourage it.

Just a heads up, they don't super score the New and Old SAT's since they're different tests and are scored differently.

I realize this , but I was mostly wondering if they would still take my new SATs since I already fulfilled the essay requirement on the Old SAT. Thanks again for all your help!

My field force rep said they'd still look at new SATs, but my RC hasn't responded to my email.
