A couple of days ago I received a letter from West Point stating that I've been found 3Q'd, but I have placed on the NWL. Then a few days later I received a letter saying that I can spend three days with them (really one whole day with a cadet) free of charge. So, is West Point interested in my file or not??? Thanks!

Sounds like they want you but you need a nomination or something. Do you have a nomination?

According to the West Point Admissions Website, "The Admissions Office offers overnight candidate orientation visits to candidates who have received a Letter of Assurance or Offer of Admission to West Point."

But since you have a neither LOA or an appointment, I believe you are being offered an overnight visit because you are 3Qed. I know in the past, 3Qed was an requirement to get an overnight visit. West Point do make mistakes.

Well I do have a nomination, but I have not received an LOA or an offer of admission.
