My DS received and accepted an appointment. He is thrilled. Does the Academy offer official visits/ overnights to those who have already accepted? He has been there multiple times ( lacrosse camps, football games ) but if offered he probably would want to do again. Also I know you need to get boots prior to arriving and if like Philmont you don't want to go there without breaking them in. I suppose this may all come in a letter but looking at calendar, it is already getting full and haven't factored in little things like squeezing in one last family vacation, graduation etc. etc.
 
Before too long, there will be a link on the portal titled something like "directions for candidates offered admission." You will certainly be busy doing all the things on the list, which includes which boots to buy.

Yes they do offer overnights for anyone with an LOE/LOA/Appt. he can schedule it at any time
