Hi,
I'm finally getting my application process for West Point underway!
I really do not want to make any mistakes that will set me back or cause me to be rejected from USMA since it is an amazing school.

If anyone has any common mistakes that I should watch out for when applying that are due to deadlines, the questionare, or anything it would be greatly appreciated. Also, if any tips were to be given I would love to hear them!
No one else in my family has ever applied for anything like this so it means alot to me that I do it right and that I do it for myself.

You are an inspiration, BMagic2012!

First, go on to each of your MOC websites to ensure you know deadlines for nominations. And apply for all noms for which you are eligible.

Second, start and complete your application EARLY.

Third, apply for AROTC scholarship.

Fourth, apply to other SAs and other ROTC scholarships, even if you currently have "It's Army or nuttin'" attitude.

Fifth, read up on SAF to learn about issues that will come up.

And sixth, accept good luck from patentesq!
