I have played 3 sports every year since freshman year and I am currently a rising senior. I am secretary of the National honor society and a member of the science club. I got a 1360 on the NEW SAT out of 1600. My weighted gpa is a 4.7 and unweighted is a 4.0. I would like to know if I stand a decent chance at getting into West Point because it is my dream school.

Its very little information that you give. I would go to USMA.EDU and compare your class schedule to what is required from WP. They look for three pillars, Academics, Athletics and Leadership

Good Luck!

Open your application and then ask your Fielf Force Rep and/or Regional Commander (admissions officer) what you should do. Academically you look OK, but not sure on the leadership side. Plus every congressional district has a different level of competition. Those sources above should be able to give you some insight into your chances for your specific area. Don't delay. The sooner you get in the game, the better your chances will be to finish everything on time and make the necessary improvements that will make you successful.

Your numbers, and your eca's look great. That's only part of the picture though. Keep building that resume', you're on the right track.

4.0 unweighted... never a B? Do you rank #1 in your class?

Honestly, no one on here can rate your 'chances' since we don't work in admissions and there are things like teacher recommendations we will never see. We also have no idea how well you will interview for your NOM, so just posting stats is only part of the total picture. You can also read the hundreds of prior 'chance me' threads to see for yourself how you compare.
