Does anyone have a good link for the NROTC stats? I love that the SA's post a class profile and wondered if the Navy did anything similar? Thanks in advance!!!!

very good question that I'd like to hear an answer for too :)

also, any way to know which units typically fill up first? even just general knowledge of this for those of us unfamiliar with NROTC units? I'm assuming the senior military colleges, but anyone have any more specific info?

I suspect we will be surprised to learn that NROTC scholarship awardees have higher average stats than do the Appointees to the USNA. There are two primary reasons: 1) NROTC does not have to accomodate DI athletes, and 2) NROTC does not have to accomodate geographic and/or MOC Principal Nominees.

This is purely an anecdotal observation: when I view the stats of NROTC awardees who have posted on this website in the past couple of years, their academic stats are significantly higher than the average academic stats posted on the USNA class profile page.

I expect dunninla is correct and provides a rational explanation. I know this is true from what little insight I have into sideload scholarships and expect this would hold for high school scholarships as well.

Don't expect any stats on this from the Navy. This is confidential info that they do not release. USNA does release it because they need to appear like, and compete with, other colleges. NROTC doesn't compete as a college so don't expect to hear any details. (That's my theory for it not be published anyway).

From a quick comparison, those stats are just slightly higher, on average, than those of USNA freshmen this year.
