Hello everyone!

I was recently accepted into NAPS but I still have a few questions regarding what will happen upon graduation. I listed down below all my questions, any input would be wonderful!

Numerous people have been telling me "just graduate from preparatory school, thats all you need to do!" WHAT DO THEY MEAN BY THAT!?!

1) Do all prep school graduates who are qualified academically, physically and medically, automatically be put into the upcoming class of (Whichever Academy)?

2) I heard from one of my NAPs group chat members that around 75-80% of qualified graduates get appointed for the upcoming class, does this mean that not all graduating students who are qualified get appointed?

This is from the last NAPS I Day. Reasons that people don't move on to USNA are varied. [ATTA

Reasons for leaving this year included deciding against the military lifestyle, grades, medical issues, honor offenses, not passing PRT. Some left voluntarily and some were dismissed.

If you apply to USNA and are denied an appointment but get offered NAPS, does the candidate have to re-apply for the following year after NAPS, including nominations, etc.?

Some parts of the application carry over; some must be redone. But they do it at NAPS. and yes, they must reapply to all eligible nomination sources.
