What are the kinds of numbers it takes to pass the CFA in each event?

Here are a couple minimums that you have to meet as posted on admissions site for USNA:

Men Women
1.5 mile run (min) 10:30 12:40
Push-ups (min in 2 mins) 40 18
Sit-ups (min in 2 mins) 65 65

^^^

Not exactly. USNA does NOT publish the minimums for the CFA (even to BGOs) for fear that people would take the advice of Hawkeye Pierce . . . "If the minimum weren't good enough, it wouldn't be the minimum."

What you have posted are the requirements for mids at USNA to pass their annual fitness tests. These are different than the CFA and comparing them is like comparing apples to oranges.

In a sticky above, I posted the averages that USNA provided BGOs to provide to candidates several years ago. If you want to be competitive, you should be around the average or better. If you have failed the CFA, USNA will notify you. If you aren't notified, you've passed. The fact you have passed doesn't mean you have excelled.

Oh thank you for correcting me USNA1985. I didn't realize that those were the requirements for the annual fitness tests. I must have misread the site.

Max out in everything and you are set:thumb:

Realistically, by logic, you must be passing if you beaten all of the average scores
