What is the Minimum Requirements for Nomination

Every time I walked by the pull-up bar, I would do at least one. At first, I had to use a stool to give me a "leg-up." After I could do that, I moved down to just standing. It's all about challenging yourself a little more and more each time.

What I do more often now is use a pull-up machine at the gym. It's one of those ones where the weight you add on to it is the amount of assistance you get. That would probably help your daughter out a lot if you have access to one, because there's a specific number she can look at to see how much she's improving. I do three sets of ten every day. At the beginning of the summer I needed about 120lbs of assistance, and now I'm down to 65 to complete all of them. I'm aiming to be able to do three sets with 30 or less, so that I can max out without tiring myself out too much for the push-ups.
